Customized classes, workshops, and retreats offered to individuals and groups. Some of these include: private yoga coaching offered in my home or yours (or virtually), family and friend yoga class series, girlfriend getaways, focused retreat days and weekends, meditation workshops, workplace breath practice series, corporate conference mindfulness practices, and so much more.

Welcome! I’m Julie, owner and founder of Willow River Yoga. I’m a grieving momma who found healing through the practice of yoga. Yes, anyone can “DO” yoga, no matter your size, shape, or age. Let me show you how! Come heal with me – mind, body, and spirit.

Julie is a fantastic yoga practitioner and teacher. She is knowledgeable on the variations people need in order to be successful in yoga. She teaches the poses and instructs according to the class. She often is teaching 2-3 variations at a time! For example, traditional, chair or limited flexibility. She possesses a calmness and grace that exudes to her students. You can tell that Julie loves teaching yoga to others, and she is a natural yoga instructor. I have done numerous classes with Julie as the instructor both virtually and in-person and always learn something new from each class. I had been doing yoga for over a year at a yoga studio, but never had an instructor breakdown the poses in-depth or give me good alternatives if something wasn’t feeling right. She is so welcoming and encouraging to all who join her classes and really just wants to spread the mental and physical healing of yoga to all.
